Samantha A. Miller Kavanagh is an associate in the Baltimore office of Zuckerman Spaeder.

Before joining the firm, Samantha served as an assistant public defender in Baltimore City, where she represented indigent clients in misdemeanor cases. She also clerked for the Honorable Catherine C. Blake of the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland.

Samantha graduated from Harvard Law School, where she was an Article Selection Editor for the Harvard Civil Rights-Civil Liberties Law Review and a student attorney for the Harvard Law School Criminal Justice Institute and the Harvard Prison Legal Assistance Project. She also clerked at the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia and the Office of Capital and Forensic Writs in Austin, Texas.
